What a professional peel does
A chemical peel uses acids to dissolve the bonds holding dull, damaged surface cells in place, so the skin underneath comes through — brighter, smoother, and more even. Professional-strength peels reach depths that over-the-counter products cannot.
The acid does the choosing. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble and clears congested, breakout-prone skin from inside the pore.
